Senator Wyden Town Hall March 17, 2 p.m., LBCC AC Gym

Senator Ron Wyden will hold a town hall meeting 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17 at Linn-Benton Community College in the Activities Center gym, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.

These upcoming town halls will increase to 881 the number of town halls Wyden has held since pledging when first elected to hold annual town halls in each of Oregon’s 36 counties.

“These open-to-all town halls in Lincoln and Linn counties are part of my promise to provide Oregonians in every part of the state opportunities to share their ideas and ask any question,” Wyden said. “These conversations are a big part of the ‘Oregon Way’ that represent the best of our state’s proud tradition of participatory democracy.”

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications.
