A ceremony to dedicate a new athletics mural recently completed at Linn-Benton Community College will be held Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the college Athletics Center building on the west side of campus. World-renowned mural artist Rip Cronk was commissioned by the college Art and Aesthetics Team to design and paint the larger-than-life mural, which measures 27 feet high by 145 feet wide and took approximately four months to complete. The mural features four current LBCC student athletes: Samantha Rouleau, Volleyball; Tyger Liner, Men’s Basketball; Kyia Duvall, Women’s Basketball; and Kendrick Abraham, Baseball. LBCC President Dr. Greg Hamann will speak at Noon. Community members will have an opportunity to meet the artist and featured student athletes. Refreshments will be served. A new, larger-than-life athletics mural is nearing completion on the east side of the Activities Center building. A dedication party will be held Wednesday, Sept. 28 starting at 11:30 a.m. at the AC building. Participants can meet the artist, world-renowned mural artist Rip Cronk , and the student athletes Kyia Duvall, Women’s Basketball; Kendrick Abraham, Men’s Basketball; Tyger Liner, Baseball; and Samantha Rouleau, Volleyball. Cronk was commissioned by the college to design and paint this larger-than-life mural, which is 27 feet high by 145 feet wide. 

Time-lapse cameras have been installed at both the Advanced Transportation Technology Center and the new Health Occupations Center construction sites, providing a daily view of the construction compressed into a brief video. On the building projects site, click on either the ATTC link or the HOC link. The site also includes the latest updates on all upcoming LBCC bond related projects. The ATTC project includes a new building for the Heavy Equipment Diesel program and the creation of an Innovation Center to provide space for worker and industry training. Expected completion date is end of summer 2016. The new 42,000-square-foot Healthcare Occupations Center, located adjacent to COMP-NW Medical School in Lebanon, will consolidate LBCC’s medical programs in a single location.
