South Albany Theater Arts, LBCC Theater to Partner
South Albany High School Theater Arts will partner with Linn-Benton Community College this fall to produce the musical “Legally Blonde, The Musical,” which will play at LBCC’s Russell Tripp Performance Center in January. Benjamin Sell, director of Theater Arts at South Albany , said the partnership provides an opportunity for his students to work with LBCC’s theater department , and gives the school a larger venue for its performance. "One of the hardest things I've ever had to do in my career was turning people away at the door from this years’ sold out performances of Back to the 80's," said Sell. "Our students are doing amazing things and the community is incredibly supportive. This partnership gives us the chance to work with the talented people and great facilities at LBCC to put on an even better show for a much bigger audience.
