Business and Employer Services at Linn Benton Community College is offering the following April workshops as part of their Series; “Developing World Class Employees” in the Calapooia Center, room CC-211, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany. Creating a Positive Work Environment will be held Tuesday, April 9 from 8 a.m. to noon. This workshop will explore the 85:15 ratio and the power of attitude, five elements of organizational culture, ways to assess workplace health, key job satisfiers, and attitudes in action. 

Motivation Strategies will be held Thursday, April 18 from 8 a.m. to noon. Learn how to create an environment for others to motivate themselves, including ways to create a successful work environment and practical strategies for creating high performance employees. 4 Generations, One Workplace will be held Friday, April 26 from 8 a.m. to noon. The professional development class “Creating a Positive Work Environment” will be held Friday, Nov. 16 from 8 a.m. to noon at LBCC Benton Center, room BC-204, 757 NW Polk Ave, Corvallis. Explore what it takes for individuals and organizational leaders to create and maintain a positive, productive workplace environment, including the 85:15 ratio, ways to assess the health of your workplace, and ideas to overcome workplace negativity.
