LBCC Professional Development Workshops

Business and Employer Services at Linn Benton Community College is offering the following April workshops as part of their Series; “Developing World Class Employees” in the Calapooia Center, room CC-211, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.

Creating a Positive Work Environment will be held Tuesday, April 9 from 8 a.m. to noon. This workshop will explore the 85:15 ratio and the power of attitude, five elements of organizational culture, ways to assess workplace health, key job satisfiers, and attitudes in action. 

Motivation Strategies will be held Thursday, April 18 from 8 a.m. to noon. Learn how to create an environment for others to motivate themselves, including ways to create a successful work environment and practical strategies for creating high performance employees.

4 Generations, One Workplace will be held Friday, April 26 from 8 a.m. to noon. Learn how to identify the cultural characteristics and value systems of the four generations currently in the workplace. Explore strategies that can lead to better intergenerational communication and collaboration, and learn how to adapt your approach when coaching, managing and leading multi-generational employees.
