Several home and garden classes will be held at the LBCC Lebanon and Sweet Home Centers starting April 2. A Knitting/Crocheting Workshop will start April 2. This 10-week class meets Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. at the Lebanon Center, 44 Industrial Way. Cost for this non-credit class is $69 plus a $3 lab fee. A Quilters' Workshop will start April 4. This four-week class meets Thursdays 7 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. at the Sweet Home Center, 1661 Long St. Cost for this class is $39 plus a $2 lab fee. Year Round Gardening series focuses on your spring gardening needs. Learn how to prioritize month-to-month as you manage your garden year round. This three-week class meets Wednesdays starting April 3 from 6 to 7:50 p.m. at the Lebanon Center. Cost for this class is $39 plus a $2 lab fee. Adults age 62 and above are eligible for a 25 percent reduction in tuition. Reduction does not apply to fees. Winter gardening classes will be offered at the LBCC Lebanon Center, 44 Industrial Way, starting Jan. 9. The class Year-Round Gardening Winter will help you learn techniques for starting seedlings, early disease detection and protection of your winter vegetables. This three-week class will meet on Wednesdays from 1 to 2:50 p.m. beginning Jan. 9 at the center. Tuition is $39 plus a $2 fee. The free Winter Gardening Series offers a different topic each week and is taught by OSU-trained master gardeners. This eight-week series meets at the center on Thursdays from Noon to 12:50 p.m. beginning Jan. 10. Seniors age 62 and above are eligible for a 25 percent reduction in tuition.  Reduction does not apply to fees.
