“Write Your Legacy Letter” class will be held at Linn-Benton Community College’s Benton Center starting March 31. Learn how to write your personal values, life’s lessons, and hopes in this form of letter writing that is given to family and friends at life’s transition points such as marriage, childbirth, graduation, illness, retirement and end of life planning. This six-week class meets Mondays from 1 to 2:50 p.m. starting March 31 at the LBCC Benton Center, room 121, 757 NW Polk Ave., Corvallis. Cost is $40. The new class Write Your Legacy Letter is being offered at Linn-Benton Community College’s Benton Center starting Monday, Jan. 6. Legacy letters are a message that expresses a person’s values, life lessons and hopes and can be shared with family and friends at times of life transitions. Instructor Sharon Waldman, a personal historian, says legacy letters are for people who want to convey key beliefs and events of their lives but don’t have time to write an entire autobiography.
