LBCC SSH Gallery Features LBCC Faculty Art Show

Faculty Art Exhibit in South Santiam Hall Gallery. Linn-Benton Community College faculty members Dori Litzer, Analee Fuentes, Andy Myers, Kathryn Cellerini Moore, Deanne Beausoleil, Lewis Franklin and Frossene King will exhibit their work in the South Santiam Hall Galleries at Linn-Benton Community College, 6500 SW Pacific Blvd, Albany through Oct. 30. A reception and artist talk is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 23, from noon to 1 p.m. in the South Santiam Hall Gallery. The faculty show includes a strong and diverse body of work, from large oil paintings by Dori Litzer to intricate collages and monoprints by Analee Fuentes. Small linoleum block prints by Fuentes will be available for sale during the show, benefiting the Oregon Latino Scholarship Fund. SSH Gallery admission is free and open to the public weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

LBCC SSH Gallery Exhibit Shows Corvallis Artists

"Place & Time," Frossene King "Mobil Homes," Andy Myers “Place,” a multi-media exhibit by Corvallis artists Frossene King and Andy Myers, is on exhibit in the South Santiam Hall Gallery at Linn-Benton Community College, 6500 Pacific Blvd SW, in Albany, through Dec. 7. A reception for the artists will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the SSH Gallery on Monday, Nov. 26. King is an adjunct instructor in digital imaging at LBCC; Myers teaches drawing at LBCC’s Benton Center and at Oregon State University . King is exhibiting work from two projects that explore how visual qualities, data and associations are essential ingredients in creating meaning in visual communication. “Meditations and Symbols” is based on the view outside her window over a six-month period, and “Decoding The Life of Lula” is a story of “displacement and discovery” inspired by her grandmother’s experiences as a Greek immigrant to the United States.
