Learn how to tell your story and your family history in the “Life Stories” class offered through Linn-Benton Community College Community Education.

 Recall and recount treasured family history in your own narrative style, and learn how to write descriptively with details and dialogue. Information about publishing will be provided in class.

 This 10-week class will meet at the Albany Senior Center on Tuesdays from 2 to 3:50 p.m. beginning Jan. 7; at the Lebanon Center on Wednesdays from 2 to 3:50 p.m. beginning Jan.8; and at the Sweet Home Center on Thursdays from 2 to 3:50 p.m. beginning Jan.9. Cost is $58.

The Sweet Home Center class meets Thursdays beginning April 4 from 2 to 3:50 p.m., 1661 Long St., room SHC-102. Cost for this 10-week class is $69 plus a $3 fee. Adults age 62 and above are eligible for a 25 percent reduction in tuition. Reduction does not apply to fees.

Tips on publishing will enable you to submit articles and stories to magazines as fact or fiction. This 10-week class will meet on Wednesdays from 2 to 3:50 p.m. beginning April 4 at the LBCC Lebanon Center, or on Thursdays beginning April 5 from 2 to 3:50 p.m. at the LBCC Sweet Home Center. Cost for the class is $69 plus a $3 fee. Seniors age 62 and above are eligible for a 25 percent reduction in tuition. Reduction does not apply to lab fees. Open registration for classes begins March 19.
