Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance (SHIBA) will hold a free class that covers the basics of Medicare as well as upcoming changes in 2014. Class is designed to help beneficiaries gain a better understanding of their Medicare benefits and options, and for anyone who will be eligible for Medicare within a few months or is new to Medicare, their spouses and relatives. This one-day class will meet Thursday, Nov. 7 from 10 to 11:50 a.m. at LBCC’s Lebanon Center Annex, 44 Industrial Way. Reservations required by calling 541-812-0849. Class is designed for anyone who will be eligible or who is new to Medicare and for current beneficiaries who would like a better understanding of their Medicare benefits and options.
