Samsung and IS Healthcare are partnering with Linn-Benton Community College to provide state of the art x-ray equipment to its Diagnostic Imaging program. The strategic partnership will allow the college to purchase the equipment at a reduced price, completely outfitting the program.  In exchange, Samsung-IS Healthcare will utilize the imaging labs during off times for employee training and equipment demonstrations. Jennifer Clayton, LBCC Diagnostic Imaging faculty chair, cited the critical need for updated equipment for the program. "Our current equipment has served our students since the beginning of the program in 2002 and due to advances in technology will soon be out of date. Our partnership with Samsung will allow our students access to digital technology which is dominate in our industry and will be essential at helping them to transition smoothly from the classroom to the clinical environment."
