Dedication Party Sept. 28 for Athletic Mural

A new, larger-than-life athletics mural is nearing completion on the east side of the Activities Center building.

A dedication party will be held Wednesday, Sept. 28 starting at 11:30 a.m. at the AC building.

Participants can meet the artist, world-renowned mural artist Rip Cronk, and the student athletes Kyia Duvall, Women’s Basketball; Kendrick Abraham, Men’s Basketball; Tyger Liner, Baseball; and Samantha Rouleau, Volleyball.

Cronk was commissioned by the college to design and paint this larger-than-life mural, which is 27 feet high by 145 feet wide.

Learn a foreign language in classes offered through Community Education at Linn-Benton Community College starting April 4. Spanish for Seniors focuses on conversational Spanish with essential words, songs and phrases to help you get ready to travel more confidently in Spanish speaking countries.
