Safe Driver Refresher Course for 16 and Older starts May 7
A safe driver refresher class for those 16 and older starts May 7 at Linn-Benton Community College.
Course covers the new “Move Over Law,” which includes more than just emergency vehicles. Review recent changes in the law and learn skills and techniques to reduce crashes and collisions.
Class meets Mondays from 6 to 7:20 p.m. for 3 weeks starting May 7, with a unique hands-on experience on Saturday May 19 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. which provides an opportunity to challenge yourself in distracted driving situations. Students must be 16 or older to attend. Materials included.
Class meets at the LBCC Albany Campus, Takena Hall, room T-215. Cost is $79.
