Tai Chi class starts June 25, Lebanon

The exercise class Tai Chi will be offered through LBCC Community Education in Lebanon starting June 25.

Learn the 18 Movement Form of Chen-style Tai Chi Chuan using low impact, slow and relaxed movements and an emphasis on deep breathing. Regular practice of Tai Chi has been shown to improve balance, mobility and coordination.

Sometimes called "moving meditation," Tai Chi promotes relaxation and reduces stress, and can improve everyday health and wellness along with increasing resistance to disease.

This 10-week class meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 to 11:50 a.m. starting June 25 at the Lebanon Senior Center. Cost is $69.

For more information or to register, see the LBCC online schedule at www.linnbenton.edu, email albany@linnbenton.edu or call LBCC Community Education at 541-917-4840.
