Clay for Beginners starts June 28 at the LBCC Benton Center, Corvallis

An introductory ceramics class will be held at the LBCC Benton Center in Corvallis starting June 28.

Clay for Beginners covers ceramic techniques including the foundations of working with clay. Students learn how to work with soft slabs to hand-build bowls, mugs, and tumblers while building on basic techniques each week. No experience necessary.

This six-week class meets Thursdays from 6 to 8:50 p.m. starting June 28 at the LBCC Benton Center Ceramics Studio, 757 Polk Ave., Corvallis. Cost is $64.
