New Community Ed Classes: Photoshop Lightroom & Travel Photography classes

Two new photography classes will be held at the LBCC Benton Center starting March 29.

"Adobe Photoshop Lightroom I" provides one easy application for managing, adjusting, and presenting large volumes of digital photographs. Learn tips, techniques and hands-on activities will help you become more productive and enjoy great photos.

This three-week class meets Tuesdays from 6 to 7:50 p.m. starting March 29 at the LBCC Benton Center, 757 NW Polk Ave. Cost is $59.

The class "Travel Photography" will help you explore the basics of exposure, lighting, and composition and identify what equipment is practical for travel and how to pack and carry.

This three-week class meets Wednesdays from 6 to 7:50 p.m starting March 30 at the LBCC Benton Center. Cost is $59

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. LBCC Holds Annual Career Fair

A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications. For sample interview questions and tips, check out the college web site at www.linnbenton.edu/go/career-fair and click “Job Seeker Links.” Employment, training and family needs agencies will be on hand to inform job seekers about their services. Community Art classes in Albany, Corvallis, and Lebanon

A variety of art classes, including a few new ones, are being offered through LBCC Community Education starting March 28. In the new class “Art & Etsy,” learn to polish your craft and sell your art. Bring your own product to polish up, or bring to life a new creation. Immerse yourself in product design and then create a catchy shop name and an inviting online presence. This one-day class meets Thursday, April 7 from 1 to 3:50 p.m. at the LBCC Lebanon Center, 44 Industrial Way, and Friday, April 15 from 1 to 3:50 p.m. at the LBCC Benton Center, 757 Polk Ave, Corvallis, and Saturday, April 16 from 10 to 12:50 p.m. at the LBCC Albany Campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW.
