LBCC offers Wildland Firefighting Class
A class in basic wildland firefighting will be held at Linn-Benton Community College starting April 22.
This five-day class meets April 22, 23, 24, 30 and May 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at LBCC, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.
Upon class completion, students receive a certificate, which may be beneficial when applying for positions with private wildland firefighting contractors, the Oregon Department of Forestry, the US Forest Service, or rural and city fire departments.
