LBCC Professional Development Workshops
Professional development workshops will be held on “Developing World Class Employees” through Linn-Benton Community College Business and Employer Services in February in the Calapooia Center, room CC-211, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.
“The Supervisor as Coach” will be held Feb. 4 from 8 a.m. to noon. Supervisors may need to also serve as performance coaches. This workshop covers fundamentals of supervisory performance coaching, when to use coaching, coaching styles and key approaches to coaching.
“Understanding and Resolving Workplace Conflict” will be held Feb. 20 from 8 a.m. to noon. Conflict in the workplace is inevitable. Learn how to manage conflict, reduce the potential cost of conflict, minimize negative consequences of unresolved differences, and improve productivity by handling conflict effectively.
