39th Annual Children’s Theater Production of “Androcles & The Lion”

The 39th annual LBCC Children’s Theater presents “Androcles and The Lion” at Linn-Benton Community College’s Russell Tripp Performance Center, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.

One of Aesop's most beloved fables, Androcles and The Lion is the heartwarming tale
freedom and friendship. Directed by Dan stone, the play is performed in the style of Commedia dell' Arte, or Italian comedy.

Three public performances will be held Friday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m., and two Saturdays, Feb. 8 and 15, at 2 p.m. The Feb. 15 performance is an American Sign Language performance.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online for no fee at www.linnbenton.edu/russelltripptheater, or at the Russell Tripp Performance Center Box Office from 1 to 4 p.m. the week of the performance, and at the door one hour prior to performance.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications.
