Classes & Workshops Begin Feb. 8

Linn-Benton Community College has classes that begin the week of Feb. 8.

A free “Dollars and Sense” workshop will be held Saturday, Feb. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. at the LBCC Lebanon Center, 44 Industrial Way. A free one-week session of “Going Into Business” for those thinking about starting a business will be held Tuesday, Feb. 11 from 1-3:20 p.m. at the LBCC Lebanon Center. Session will cover rules, regulations, financing, customers, market and feasibility. Call 541-917-4923 to register.

“Cake Decorating” class will be held at the LBCC Sweet Home Center, 1661 Long St. This two-day class meets Feb. 11 and 13 from 5:30 to 8:20 p.m.  Learn the basics of cake decorating while creating a Valentine themed cake. Cost is $39.

The workshop “Effortless Gardening” will be held at the Steelhead Fitness Center in Sweet Home on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 9 to 11:20 a.m. Learn how to weed out pain from gardening and other household tasks by practicing the easy movements of the Feldenkrais Method. Cost is $29.
