Licensed Massage Therapist Continuing Education Workshops

A continuing education workshop for Licensed Massage Therapists will be offered through LBCC Business and Employer Services on Saturday, Sept. 29.

Head, Neck and Jaw workshop will help you to identify and address torticolis, headaches and TMJ, with specific intra-oral techniques for working with TMJ dysfunction.

The workshop provides a hands-on, integrated understanding of how myofascial restrictions affect the functional mechanics of the head, neck and jaw. Learn to minimize effort while increasing positive results with attention to body mechanics and kinesthetic awareness.

This one-day workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in North Santiam Hall, room NSH-106 on the LBCC Albany campus, 6500 SW Pacific Blvd.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. Learn a foreign language in classes offered through Community Education at Linn-Benton Community College starting April 4. Spanish for Seniors focuses on conversational Spanish with essential words, songs and phrases to help you get ready to travel more confidently in Spanish speaking countries. Learn past, present, and future verb tenses. Some previous Spanish experience recommended. This eight-week class meets Tuesdays from 2:30 to 3:50 p.m. starting April 4 at the Albany Senior Center, 44 Water Ave. Cost is $65. American Sign Language I provides basic sign language skills and information on deaf culture.
