Homebrewing classes start May 4, Corvallis Brewing Supply
A beginning and advanced home beer brewing class will be held through LBCC Community Education starting May 4.
Joel Rea, owner of Corvallis Brewing Supply, will instruct.
Beginning Homebrewing covers tools and techniques used in the fermentation process, from boiling the kettle to filling the bottle, as well as beer styles and the history of home brewing.
This three-week class meets Thursdays from 6 to 8:20 p.m. starting May 4 at Corvallis Brewing Supply, 119 SW 4th St. Cost is $99.
Advanced Homebrewing is a one-day workshop that covers brewing a batch of beer using an all-grain process, including equipment needs and techniques for various styles of brew. Beginning class or instructor approval recommended.
Workshop meets Saturday, May 20 from 9 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. at Corvallis Brewing Supply, 119 SW 4th St. Cost is $99.
