LBCC Ceramics Instructor Holds Lecture, Demonstration
Linn-Benton Community College ceramics instructor Renee McKitterick will hold a slide lecture and demonstration on working in porcelain Feb. 19 and 20.
McKitterick spent last summer as an artist in residence at The Pottery Workshop in Jingdezhen, China, where she completed a body of work in porcelain while exploring the technical methodologies.
She will present a free slide lecture Friday, Feb. 19 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the LBCC Benton Center, 757 Polk Ave., room BC-244, Corvallis.
McKitterick will also give a demonstration on porcelain techniques Saturday, Feb. 20 at the Benton Center ceramics studio. Cost is $45.
