Pharmacy Technician Information Sessions



LBCC is offering free Pharmacy Technician Program pre-application information sessions for those interested in training to work as a Pharmacy Technician.



The sessions will be held Wednesday, Sept. 25, 1-3 p.m.; Tuesday, Oct. 1; 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; Monday, Oct. 28, 9-11 a.m.; and Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2-4 p.m. at the LBCC Lebanon Center, 44 Industrial Way, Lebanon, OR.



No need to pre-register to attend. Attendance at the information session is mandatory in order to take the program.



The 18-week Pharmacy Technician Program starts Feb. 3 and runs through June 6, 2014. Skill areas covered include customer service, pharmacy math, pharmacy laws and rules, pharmaceutical vocabulary, prescriptions, billing, insurance, industry software, pharmacology and on-the-job training.



Cost for the program is $5,000, which includes all books and supplies. The program is eligible for financial aid.
