LBCC Free Living with Chronic Conditions Program

The free workshop Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions Self-Management Program will be held at the LBCC Lebanon Center starting Sept. 19.

This six-week workshop is for people with ongoing health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, emphysema, heart conditions, high blood pressure, MS, etc.

Participants will meet Thursdays from 12:30 to 2:50 p.m. beginning Sept. 19 at the LBCC Lebanon Center Annex building, 44 Industrial Way.

Preregistration is required by calling Carole Kment at 541-768-6070 or email at ckment@samhealth.org.

Co-sponsored by LBCC and Samaritan Health Services in partnership with Linn and Benton County Health Departments. For more information, contact the Lebanon Center at 541-259-5801.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. LBCC Holds Annual Career Fair

A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications.
