LBCC Hosts Oregon Shakespeare Festival Actors

The program is free and open to the public, with the actors performing selections from Shakespeare as well as selections from more contemporary plays.
The first one-hour show, “Live, and Deal with Others Better,” will be from 10 to 10:50 a.m. and features Shakespeare characters from various upcoming OSF season plays.
The second show, “The Course of True Love Never Did Run Smooth,” will be held from Noon to 12:50 p.m. and features a medley of scenes from Shakespeare and contemporary plays.
In addition, the actors will hold a two-hour performance workshop at 2 p.m. All performances will take place in the LBCC Russell Tripp Performance Center, Takena Hall, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.
Bradshaw has been with OSF for four seasons. A graduate of Southern Oregon University, his OSF credits include Hamlet, The Tempest, and The Taming of the Shrew.
Montes, a graduate of Ohio University’s Professional Actor Training Program, has worked with the Adirondack Shakespeare Company, TITAN Theater Company, and Cincinnati Playhouse. This is her first tour with OSF.
The 2012 School Visit Program is funded by grants from the Bowmer Society, Sharkey Family Charitable Foundation, Joseph R. Parker Foundation, Lamb-Baldwin Foundation, Starseed Foundation, the Helen Clay Frick Foundation, and the Oregon Arts Commission.
