Volleyball Players Sign Letters of Intent


Linn-Benton Community College will send four of its volleyball players to the next level of play this fall after the players signed letters of intent on Monday.

Business major Mona Goudarzian, 2010 graduate of West Albany High School, will play outside opposite for Southern Oregon University; and business major Hannah Bell, 2009 Canby High graduate, will play outside hitter for California State University.

Special education major Julianna Evola, 2010 Westview High graduate, will play setter and opposite for Montana State University – Billings; and exercise and sports science major Lacy Wood, 2010 Hidden Valley graduate, has the option to play both basketball and volleyball for Warner Pacific University.

In addition, two previous players, Amanda Berry and Kristina Crivello, also will move to the university level.

Berry, an exercise and sports science major and Hidden Valley graduate, will head to Northwest Christian University, transferring from Montana State University where she played libero for the Yellow Jackets in the 2011 season; and Crivello, a pre-physical therapy major and Reynolds High graduate, will play opposite for Warner Pacific College.
