LBCC Volleyball Clinic for 6th–9th Graders

LBCC will hold a Summer Volleyball Clinic August 7, 8 and 9 for girls and boys who are entering grades six through nine.

The clinic will provide three days of three-hour sessions that includes instruction on the all aspects of the game including serving, passing, hitting, setting, blocking and defense.

The clinic will be held at the LBCC Activities Center gym, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany. Grades six and seven will meet from 9 a.m. to Noon, and grades eight and nine will meet from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Cost for the clinic is $60 if registered before July 15, and $75 after. Preregistration is preferred.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. LBCC Holds Annual Career Fair

A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications. Community Art classes in Albany, Corvallis, and Lebanon

A variety of art classes, including a few new ones, are being offered through LBCC Community Education starting March 28. In the new class “Art & Etsy,” learn to polish your craft and sell your art.
