LBCC Lebanon Center Computer Application Classes
Are you a novice computer user who would like to learn basic
computer skills? The LBCC Lebanon Center
is offering two beginning computer classes this summer.
"Computers-First Step" is designed for those who
have never touched a computer and want hands-on, step-by-step instruction. This
easy-paced class includes identifying and using the various parts of the
computer, using the mouse and keyboard, and introduces Windows 7 with a brief
introduction to email and the Internet.
This four-week, non-credit class will meet on Tuesdays from
6 to 8:50 p.m. at the Lebanon Center, 44 Industrial Way, beginning July 10.
Cost for the class is $45 plus a $3 lab fee.
Continue to build on your skills in the class,
"Computers-Second Step." This class explores additional features of
Windows 7, the Internet and email. Learn how to copy information between
programs, organize files, create folders and learn easy computer maintenance
tips.
This four-week, non-credit class will meet on Tuesdays from
6 to 8:50 p.m. at the Lebanon Center beginning August 7. Cost for the class is $45 plus a $3 lab fee.
Students must have completed the "Computers-First Step" class or have
equivalent computer experience.
Adults age 62 and above are eligible for a 25 percent
reduction in tuition. Reduction does not apply to materials or lab fees.
