Linn-Benton Community College has named Jennifer Boehmer as the next executive director to lead the college’s Advancement office.

Boehmer will start March 1. She is succeeding Dale Stowell, who is retiring.

She is the current past president for the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations, a professional association for two-year college marketing professionals.

Boehmer holds a master’s degree in communication management from the University of Portland, and a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and public relations from Linfield College.

LBCC’s Advancement office encompasses marketing, print and digital communication, media relations, and the college Foundation office, which raises money to support LBCC programs and students.

The college serves more than 22,000 students each year, with more than 60 degrees, certificates and career technical training options and community education classes.
