LBCC 41st Annual Children’s Theater Production: “The Cat in the Hat”

The 41st annual Children’s Theater at Linn-Benton Community College presents “The Cat in the Hat” Feb. 13, 19 and 20 at LBCC’s Russell Tripp Performance Center, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.

This adaption of Dr. Seuss’s famous story brings the notorious and mischievous Cat in the Hat to LBCC for some hilarious, outrageous fun.

Performances are Friday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. The Feb. 20 performance is an ASL performance.

Tickets are $8, or $5 for groups of five or more, and can be purchased online www.linnbenton.edu/russelltripptheater, or at the door one hour prior to performance.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications.
