South Santiam Hall Gallery Features Paintings by Robert Story
Paintings by Portland artist and LBCC graduate Robert Story are on exhibit in the South Santiam Hall Gallery at Linn-Benton Community College, 6500 Pacific Blvd SW, in Albany through Feb. 1.
A reception and gallery talk will be held on Tuesday Jan. 8 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the gallery.
Story describes his exhibit, titled “Ruminations In the Outside,” as “a playground for my thoughts and emotions, as well as a catharsis.” He said he paints in order to express his thoughts aesthetically. A 2004 graduate of LBCC, Story works for Bullseye Glass Co. in Portland as a furnace builder.
LBCC's South Santiam Hall Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
