LBCC Offers Cyber Security Presentations for Community and Businesses

Learn how to increase security within your business and community by attending free cyber security presentations offered through LBCC Business and Employer Services on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Meet with key players in Oregon's and U.S. cyber security. Presenters include Kelvin Coleman, director of state, local and tribal engagement for the Department of Homeland Security’s National Cyber Security Division, Karen Evans, U.S. Cyber Challenge director and former e-government chief, and Theresa Masse, chief information security officer for the State of Oregon.

The first presentation “Securing Your Business and Home” will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Central Willamette Credit Union head office, 7101 Supra Drive, Albany. This presentation will be offered again from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Hewlett-Packard, 1000 NE Circle Blvd., Corvallis.

“Cyber Warriors: Choosing a Career in Cyber Security” will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. at Hewlett-Packard, 1000 NE Circle Blvd., Corvallis. This presentation is designed for those interested in careers in cyber security.
