LBCC Offers Crew Resource Management Class
The Linn-Benton Fire Training Council will present the class “Crew Resource Management” through Linn-Benton Community College Business and Employer Services on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the LBCC Albany campus.
Taught by Paul LeSage, this class focuses on interpersonal communication, leadership and decision making to improve situational awareness on the fire ground and during other stressful events. Participants will gain perspective on where communication breakdown occurs and learn how to maintain “common ground” in team communications.
The class is designed for supervisors, fire and EMS team leaders, company officers, chief officers, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, law enforcement or team members working in a high-stress, high reliability environment.
Class will be held in the LBCC Forum building, room F-113, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W., Albany. Cost for the course is $25 per person.
