LBCC Benton Center Siebler Collection Dedication
The LBCC Benton Center will unveil a collection of ceramic works donated by Bill and Jane Siebler on Friday, Oct. 21 at the center, 757 Polk Ave, Corvallis.
The Siebler Collection is a compilation of representative ceramic art from some the genre's most celebrated contemporary artists, which the Siebler’s have generously donated from their extensive collection to LBCC and the Benton Center.
The collection, which includes pieces by Paul Soldner, Frank Boyden, Christine Federighi, David Shaner, Lillian Pitt and others, will be on display in the Benton Center Student Lounge.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with introductions and a dedication and ribbon cutting by LBCC President Dr. Greg Hamann beginning at 6 p.m. Oregon potter Wally Schwab will present a free slide lecture on ceramics following the dedication at 7 p.m. in room BC-204.
