NSH Gallery Exhibit: Fiber Art by Campbell
North Santiam Gallery presents “A Fluid Difference” with artwork from Andrew Douglas Campbell on display through November 30.
An artist reception will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, October 19 in the NSH Gallery. Light refreshments will be provided.
Calling attention to undermined mediums and causing commotion in the Linn-Benton community, Campbell presents eleven large scale fiber works.
His work send a powerful message through the tension of his subject matter, literally in the torn and mended fabric of his works, giving voice to the concepts of identity, masculinity, and femininity, and providing a chance for the viewer to be aware of the conversation between the art and themselves.
For special needs and accommodations, contact the LBCC Disability Coordinator at 541‑917‑4789 or via Oregon Relay TDD at 1‑800‑735‑2900 or 1-800-735-1232 at least 72 hours in advance of this event.
