Benton Center Public Meeting May 23, 4:30 p.m.
Linn-Benton Community College will hold a public meeting on its Benton Center expansion project Tuesday, May 23 starting at 4:30 p.m. at the center, 757 NW Polk Ave, Corvallis.
The public is invited to view the plans and meet the planning team to learn about the next steps for expansion.
Expansion of the Benton Center is due to the need for additional parking and classroom space to meet demand, including growth in the college’s partnership program with OSU which allows students to attend LBCC and OSU at the same time.
In May 2016, the college purchased property at 931 NW Reiman St, which will add approximately 20,000 square feet of instructional space and 200 parking spaces. The property currently houses First Student, which is in the process of finding a new location.
For more information, contact LBCC Benton Center Director Jeff Davis at 541-757-8944.
