Driver Education Offered in Sweet Home

A new Driver Education course will launch April 4 in Sweet Home through Linn-Benton Community College’s Community Education Department.
 
This Driver Education course includes the State of Oregon mandated 30 hours of classroom instruction, a three-hour parent/student orientation at first meeting plus 12 hours behind-the wheel practice and driver observation.

Students must register in person. Cost for the course is $265 for ages 17 and under, $445 for ages 18 and over.

Students under the age of 18 may qualify for, upon successful completion of the course, a waiver to waive the in car skills testing when obtaining their Driver’s License.
