LBCC Theater Production: “All in the Timing”

LBCC Performing Arts presents “All in the Timing” May 14-16 at 7:30 p.m., and May 16 at 2 p.m., at Linn-Benton Community College’s Russell Tripp Performance Center, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.

Join us for an evening of student-directed, one-acts that combines wit, intellect, satire and just plain fun! The play, written by David Ives, is the winner of the John Gassner Playwriting Award.

Tickets are $10 general admission, $7 for seniors, students and youth, and can be purchased online starting May 1 at www.linnbenton.edu/russelltripptheater, at the theater Box Office from 1 to 4 p.m. the week of the performance, and at the door one hour prior to performance. Seating is limited.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. LBCC Holds Annual Career Fair

A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications. A variety of art classes, including a few new ones, are being offered through LBCC Community Education starting March 28. In the new class “Art & Etsy,” learn to polish your craft and sell your art. Bring your own product to polish up, or bring to life a new creation. Immerse yourself in product design and then create a catchy shop name and an inviting online presence.
