LBCC Choir Concert “Music Down in My Soul!”

The Linn-Benton Community College choirs will perform “Music Down in My Soul!” on Thursday, June 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Russell Tripp Performance Center, LBCC Takena Hall, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.

LBCC music instructor James Reddan will conduct the performances of the Re-Choired Element Chamber Choir, LBCC Concert Choir, Women's Ensemble, The Blue Light Special, and the Sirens. Diana Hancock will accompany on piano, with Jason Caffarella conducting the Men’s Ensemble.

The concert will feature many works celebrating the joys of music and singing together. Works include Good Night Dear Heart by Dan Forrest, O Mistress Mine by Gyorgy Orban, Music Down in My Soul by Moses Hogan, How Can I Keep from Singing by Gwenneth Walker, Ode to Krispy Kreme as performed by Take 6, Lullaby Good Night My Angel, A New Day, and much more.

There is something for everyone as the choirs celebrate another awarding winning year of choral music at LBCC, in addition to launching their journey to the Olympics in 2012. Come celebrate music, joy, and singing!

Performance tickets are $7 general admission, $5 for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased for no fee online at www.linnbenton.edu/go/tickets, at the Russell Tripp Performance Center Box Office, by phone at 541-917-4531, or one hour prior to the performance. Box office business hours are Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 2 p.m.
