Benton Center Acoustic Showcase Presents Tom and Ellen

The LBCC Benton Center Acoustic Showcase presents “Tom and Ellen” on Friday, May 20, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Benton Center student lounge, 757 NW Polk Ave., Corvallis.

Best described as "contemplative folk music," Tom and Ellen's music is both thought provoking and reflective. It is a musical potpourri of ballads, love songs, traveling songs, and reflections on life; an excellent cross section of music of the folk era of the '50's and '60's up to the present.

The Acoustic Showcase is free and open to the public. Bring your lunch and a friend and enjoy. For more information, contact the LBCC Benton Center at 541-757-8944.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. Learn a foreign language in classes offered through Community Education at Linn-Benton Community College starting April 4. Spanish for Seniors focuses on conversational Spanish with essential words, songs and phrases to help you get ready to travel more confidently in Spanish speaking countries. Learn past, present, and future verb tenses. Some previous Spanish experience recommended.
