Lebanon & Sweet Home Centers Offers ABE/GED Basic Skills Class

Classes to help you earn your Adult Basic Education/General Education Diploma (GED) will be offered at LBCC's Lebanon and Sweet Home Centers this spring.

These classes can help you prepare to pass your GED test and help you to improve your skills in reading, writing or math. Improving your skills can help you be ready to fill job requirements or help you prepare for college.

A free two-day orientation will be held at the LBCC Lebanon Center and the LBCC Sweet Home Center on March 14 and 15 and again on March 28 and 29. Choose to attend the morning session from 9 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. or the evening session from 6 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. at either location.

Please attend the orientation that best meets your schedule for attending class. An additional orientation will be held April 25 and 26. Once you have attended the orientation, the cost to attend the GED class is $30. Scholarships are available.

The Lebanon Center is located at 44 Industrial Way in the same building as the Employment Division and DHS. The Sweet Home Center is located at 1661 Long Street, right next to the high school.

For more information or to register, visit the LBCC online schedule at www.linnbenton.edu, or call the Lebanon Center at 541-259-5801 or the Sweet Home Center at 541-367-6901.
