LBCC Performing Arts Musical Blood Brothers
LBCC’s Performing Arts Department will present the musical “Blood Brothers” starting Friday, Nov.12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Russell Tripp Performance Center, Takena Hall, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.
Set in Britain, Willy Russell's Blood Brothers tells the story of fraternal twins who are separated at birth. One brother is raised in a family of great privilege, and the other is raised in poverty. Even with their different socio-economic backgrounds, the two boys end up becoming best friends until a misunderstanding leads to a tragic ending.
LBCC theater faculty Dan Stone directs the show, with musical direction by James Reddan, LBCC music faculty, and choreography by Katherine Sanders.
Performances will be November 12, 13, 18, 19 & 20 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 21 at 3 p.m. The Sunday matinee showing is ASL interpreted and a benefit for LBCC Performing Arts Foundation Scholarships.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $9 for students and seniors. Tickets are available online through Box Office Avenue for no fee at https://secure.boxofficeavenue.com/LinnBenton/
Tickets can also be purchased at the theater box office or by phone at 541-917-4531, or at the door two hours prior to the performance. Please arrive early to purchase tickets, show starts promptly. Box-office hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
