LB Roadrunner Baseball Ends Impressive Season

LBCC Roadrunner’s amazing baseball season came to an end on Friday, May 25 at the Northwest Athletic Conference tournament, ending the season with an impressive 42 wins and four losses.

The Roadrunners had a 30-game winning streak going into the tournament, but were eliminated in the double-elimination tournament with a 2-1 loss to Everett at David Story Field.

LB entered the tournament at 42-2, losing 4-3 to Spokane in the first round May 24. Everett scored on Nick Anderson’s RBI single in the eighth to stave off elimination itself and send the Roadrunners home May 25.
