Qi Gong I & II start Jan. 12, Benton Center

Qi gong level I & II classes will be held at the LBCC Benton Center starting January 12.

Qi gong helps you use energy flow to strengthen the entire body and calm the mind. Learn to cultivate your magnetic energy and draw the energy inward using slow, specific movements and focused breath in this easy-to-follow practice. No experience needed.

In Qi gong II, continue to learn the meditative practices of the Five Element System while delving deeper into its theory and applications, including the Five Element personality types and developing daily Longevity Exercises. No prerequisite or previous Qi gong experience is required.

Both eight-week classes will meet Fridays starting Jan. 12 at the LBCC Benton Center, 757 NW Polk Ave. in Corvallis.  Qi Gong I will be held from 2 to 2:50 p.m., and Qi Gong II will be held from 3 to 3:50 p.m. Cost is $69 each.
