Playwriting class: Tackling the Ten-Minute Play

A class on playwriting will be held at the LBCC Benton Center starting January 9.

Explore dramatic structure, dialogue, composition, and formatting by creating a ten-minute play and participating in readings, discussions, and writing exercises. Plays will be presented in an inclusive and constructive environment using Lehrman-inspired feedback.

This 10-week class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 5:30 p.m. starting January 9 at the LBCC Benton Center, 757 Polk Ave NW, Corvallis. Cost is $99.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. LBCC Holds Annual Career Fair

A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications.
