Holiday Pottery Sale, Benton Center, Dec. 8

A Winter Holiday Ceramics Sale will be held at the LBCC Benton Center Friday, Dec. 8 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the ceramics studio, 757 NW Polk Ave., Corvallis.

Handmade pottery crafted by local artists, LBCC ceramics instructors, students and volunteers. Great for holiday gifts. Portion of proceeds go to support the studio.

The 49th annual Linn-Benton Community College Commencement ceremony will be held Thursday, June 15 at 7 p.m. at the Linn County Fair and Expo Willamette Event Center in Albany. LBCC will award 911 degrees and certificates to 727 students this year. In addition, approximately 90 students will be awarded LBCC’s General Educational Development GED certificates. Graduates should plan to arrive no later than 5:45 p.m. at the Santiam Building behind the Willamette Event Center. Doors open for seating at 6 p.m. No tickets needed to attend. The 43rd annual Linn-Benton Community College Commencement Ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 9 at the Linn County Fair and Expo Center in the Willamette Event Center in Albany. Graduates should plan to arrive no later than 5:45 p.m. at the Santiam Building at the Expo Center. Doors open for seating at 6 p.m. No tickets are needed to attend the ceremony. LBCC will award 984 degrees and certificates to 835 candidates this year. Approximately 250 students completed LBCC’s General Educational Development preparation program and will receive their certificates at commencement. LBCC Real Estate Broker Pre-License Exam

A Real Estate Broker Pre-License Exam course will be offered through Linn-Benton Community College starting September 28. Designed to prepare you for the Oregon Real Estate Broker License Exam, this 150-hour hybrid course is the fastest way to qualify to take the state exam. This 10-week course will meet on Wednesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. beginning September 28 at the LBCC Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd SW, room CC-212. The course content will be mostly Internet based. Students are expected to have online capability, able to self-study and attend all class sessions. A mandatory study session will be held on Saturday, the last day of the class. Cost for this non-credit course is $600.
