New Beginning Ceramics class starts Sept. 28 in Sweet Home

A beginning ceramics class will be held through the LBCC Sweet Home Center starting September 28.

Learn foundational skills for working with clay in the introductory class for the absolute beginner, using various hand-building techniques. All materials and tools are included.

This nine-week class meets Thursdays from 6 to 7:50 p.m. starting Sept. 28 at Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long St.  Cost is $80.

Oregon Construction Contractors Board Education (CCB) will be offered through the Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College. This five session course will meet on April 22, 29, May 6, 13, and 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on the LBCC Albany campus, Calapooia Center room CC-213. LBCC Holds Annual Career Fair

A free Career Fair will be held at Linn‑Benton Community College Career Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Activities Center gym, Albany campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W. More than 50 businesses, industries and government agencies will provide information on careers and employment opportunities. College advisors will available to answer questions on career and technical training programs. Be prepared to ask questions, distribute your resume and complete applications. Bring your own product to polish up, or bring to life a new creation. Immerse yourself in product design and then create a catchy shop name and an inviting online presence.
