LBCC Instructor offers Guided Tour to Florence, Italy


Dr. Robert Harrison, social science instructor at Linn-Benton Community College, will give a two-week guided tour of Florence, Italy June 20 to July 5, 2017.

The tour is open to LBCC students and community members, and is also being offered to LBCC students as a Humanities credit class “The Power of the Past: Florence, Italy.”

Participants will explore the Florence region and culture, including the art and ideas of the Italian Renaissance, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci.

Travelers will stay in the heart of Florence, close to the Duomo Cathedral and train station.

Total estimated cost including round trip airfare, lodging and meals is $2,600, or $2,900 if including the 3-credit Humanities class.
