Lebanon Community Education Classes in Lebanon

Several late starting classes are being offered through Linn-Benton Community College Lebanon Community Education this term.

The one-day workshop “The Art of the Feline Face” introduces the basics of creating an exciting watercolor representation of a feline friend. The unique techniques discussed are freeing, fun, and useful in painting many other subjects. Workshop is for both beginners and more advanced painters. All materials provided.

Workshop will meet Saturday, Jan. 31 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the LBCC Lebanon Center, 44 Industrial Way. Cost is $59.

A “Triathlon Training Clinic” will be held in Lebanon to help you jump-start or accelerate your triathlon experience. This starter clinic will help you improve your technique and learn strategies to streamline your swim, boost your biking ability, run efficiently and transition smoothly while meeting your nutrition and hydration needs.

This two-day clinic will meet Thursday, Feb. 12, from 7:30 to 9:20 p.m. at the Lebanon Community Pool, 1800 S. 5th St., and Saturday, Feb. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. at the LBCC Lebanon Center Annex, 44 Industrial Way. Cost is $69.  

Interested in buying and selling products online? Learn how to effectively use Craigslist, eBay, and Etsy in the class “Buying and Selling Online” offered through Linn-Benton Community College Community Education.

Explore shopping options and popular marketplace services while learning how to create ads that attract buyers and other strategies to get results and protect yourself as both buyer and seller.

This three-week class will meet Wednesdays from 1 to 2:50 p.m. starting Feb. 28 at the LBCC Lebanon Center, 44 Industrial Way. Cost is $59.
